About Gather

We are building infrastructure for the communities that preserve the human experience.

Gather is a Community Continuity Platform: one home for the relationships, memory, and legacy of the communities that matter most.

Origins

Hear it from the people building it.

Our Mission

To make continuity possible for the organizations that need it most.

Companies have had the resources to protect their continuity for decades. Brand teams, culture programs, executive libraries, operating margins that outlive any one leader. Their identity survives generations because someone funded it to survive.

Local nonprofits, faith communities, service organizations, families. They produce extraordinary human value without producing extraordinary financial returns. Their continuity has always been improvised, held together by the volunteers and elders who happened to care.

We are building the infrastructure that changes that.

What We Believe

A few principles that shape everything we build.

  • Everyone belongs to many communities. Families, faith groups, alumni networks, chapters, neighborhoods, teams — no one belongs to only one. Gather is built for every community that shapes a life.
  • Communities own their memory. Community Memory belongs to the community that made it — never harvested, never sold, never used to train models outside its walls.
  • Continuity is infrastructure, not a feature. It cannot be bolted onto tools designed for engagement. It has to be designed for from the start.
  • Software should serve stewardship. The people who carry a community across generations deserve tools shaped by their responsibility — not by an unrelated business model.
  • Meaning is worth preserving. Not just events on a timeline — the context that gives those events meaning.
